He was born on 20.08.1920. He presided over the Parishata a number of times.
He studied Krishna Yajurvedam (Ghanantham),Taithireeya Sakha; Sroutham (Kalpa Sastram) Apasthambha Sutra; Lakshana Sastram (Pratisakhya Complete); Vidyaranya Bhashya (Complete) and Meemamsa Sastram. |
Honours and Recognitions: |
- Conferred "Sanga Vedhardha Samrat" by Veda Sastra Parishad (Ragd.), Rajahmundry on 01.09.1961.
- Conferred "Abhinava Vidyaranya" by Veda Sastra Parishad (Regd.) Vijayawada on 12.01.1969.
- Honoured by the Government of Andhra Pradesh as "Veda Bhashya Scholar" at Hyderabad, in May, 1970.
- Conferred "Sastra Ratnakara" by H.H. Sri Kanchi Kamakoti Peetadhipathi Sri Chandra Sekharendra Saraswathi in Akhila Bharatha Vidvat Sammelan, held at Kaladi (Kerela) in May, 1978, as "Poorva Meemamsa Scholar".
- Conferred "Veda Meemamsa Sarvabhouma" by Sri Pattabhirama Sastri Veda Meemamsanusandhana Kandra of Varanasi at Varanasi in November, 1985.
- Received President Award for the year 1990 as Veda & Sanskrit Scholar from Sri R.Venkata Raman, President of India.
- Delivered speeches on Veda Bhashya and Hindu Dharma in the summer School of T.T Devasthanams, Tirupathi, every year – since its inception.
- Conferred the Title of "Mahamahopadhyaya" by Rashtriya Sanskrit Vidyapeetha (Central University), Tirupathi in 1996.
- Conferred "Vedanidhi" by Sri Ganapathi Sachidananda Swamiji at Mysore in June, 1998.
- Conferred the Title of "Vedarathna" by Sri Bharathiya Vidya Bhavan, Bangalore in Novemeber, 2002 as Vedabhashya Scholar with one Lakh Cash Prize.
